The world famous Accutron's Proprietary Electrostatic Movement creates its energy is by twin turbines that rotate as a result of human motion at incredible speeds between two electrodes affixed to the movement. The energy, which is stored in an accumulator, powers two motors; an electrostatic motor fueling the fluid second hand and a step motor powering the hour and minute hands. The second hand automatically stops at 12 o'clock after 5 minutes of non activity for power saving. Meanwhile, the watch continues to keep time, the hour and minute hand keep moving. The smoke grey skeleton dial features signature green Accutron accents.
This Bulova watch has a stainless steel case 44 mm in diameter and is fitted with a leather strap. Inside the case lies a Miyota movement and the watch features a Sapphire crystal.
The watch is 3 ATM. This means the watch is splash waterproof. The watch comes with 5 Year Warranty.
