Bulova Archive Series 98A329 Lunar Pilot Timascus Limited Edition Watch

This intriguing Limited Edition Citizen Lunar Pilot chronograph was developed in collaboration with Brazilian artist Thiago Rosinhole, to celebrate the brand’s 150th Anniversary. A modern interpretation of a historic timepiece with a twist, the watch features a unique Timascus dial. Timascus is a titanium version of Damascus steel. Different layers of titanium are heat-treated and laminated together to created intriguing color patterns. The material is used for l(luxury) watches because it is lightweight and has non-magnetic and non-corrosive properties. The watch’s chronograph functionality with timing to 1/20th second, silver registers, and luminous hands and markers complement the dial’s blue tachymeter ring is powered by Bulova’s high-precision quartz movement. Each of the 5000 Lunar Pilot Timascus chronographs is individually numbered and features a case back embossed with Rosinhole’s signature Budii figure. The watch comes in special packaging, including a storybook and a signature 6-inch Budii figurine exclusively designed by Rosinhole, for this collaboration watch.

This Bulova watch has a case made of stainless steel with a diameter of 45 mm and is fitted with a stainless steel band. Inside the case lies a Miyota movement and the watch features a Single anti-reflective sapphire crystal.
