   • I was planning on swapping the strap out for a leather one, thinking that the original would be too large for my wrist, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that the strap adjusts perfectly, and fits comfortably too, and I've left it just as is.
   • It's a very elegant and compact design. I prefer smaller, lighter watches, and this one is just the ticket. I initially saw it in a shop window on a trip out of town; the shop was closed, so I gambled on placing an order without trying it in, and I'm glad I did.

   • I noticed that the watch arrived without a battery guard, already ticking, which raised questions for me. However, as it had no other indications of prior use (and indeed, still had film strips attached to the face and the reverse), I kept it just as is.
