LIP Manufacture 676033 Type 14 Automatic Manufacture Watch

In the early 1930s, LIP created the Type 14 aircraft watch. Its sturdy case was made of a light alloy, and both winding and time-setting were done by means of a fluted bezel, making it easy to grip, even when wearing gloves. The mechanism was fitted to the instrument panels of French Air Force fighters of the day that also operated during WWII. The new Type 14 watch is inspired by this famous timepiece. It features a bi-directional internal rotating bezel, activated by the dedicated crown positioned at 2 o'clock. Like the original bezel, which was screwed onto the dashboard, it features a triangular index designed to provide a reference point for measuring time, so typical of aviator watches. The black dial is highly legible thanks to the presence of luminescent numerals and hands, and features a finely textured airport tarmac-like surface. All Type 14 watches are individually numbered, even though it is not produced in a limited series.

This LIP watch has a case made of stainless steel with a diameter of 41 mm and is fitted with a stainless steel band. Inside the case lies a LIP movement and the watch features a Double anti-reflective sapphire crystal.

The watch is 10 ATM. This means the watch is suitable for swimming. The watch comes with 3 Year Warranty.
