The Automatic Vagues du Jura watch is part of Maurice Lacroix’ 1975 collection, celebrating its 75th anniversary. It is a Limited Edition of 888 pieces which pays homage to the company’s home in the Franches-Montagnes and Manufacture in Saignelégier. The dial pays homage to its place of origin with a Vagues du Jura dial motif. This intricate pattern, which was first employed on a Masterpiece model, depicts the rolling hills overlooking the Manufacture. The color Saignelégier Blue, unique to Maurice Lacroix, is a reference to the history of the brand. At 3 o’clock, the date is shown with a combination of white numerals on a blue disc matching the main dial hue. The watch is powered by an automatic ML155 calibre with a 56 hour power reserve, which is visible through the sapphire crystal, engraved case back. This movement is thinner than in the standard 1975 model, contributing to the watch’s just 9 mm thickness. Additional movement refinements include perlage, colimaçon and an oscillating mass that is again adorned with the Vagues du Jura; details that makes this model special. The 1975 Automatic is worn on a matching Saignelégier Blue leather strap with the Maurice Lacroix Easy Strap Exchange system.

This Maurice Lacroix watch has a case made of stainless steel with a diameter of 40 mm and is fitted with a leather band. Inside the case lies a Sellita movement and the watch features a Double anti-reflective sapphire crystal.
