Product description

Japanese Urushi laquer is made from a natural tree sap which has been used for centuries to create beautiful utensils and (bento-)boxes. It is naturally anti-corrosive and water repellent. Applying several layers of laquer creates a deep black and unique lustre, often combined with gold decorations. The dial of this watch is made of hand finished Urushi lacquer which almost looks like liquid ink. Applied and polished in several layers by master craftsmen, it creates a base which reflects light, but also the floating passing of time. Delicate golden details, inspired by Japanese Kanazawa lacquer art, bring warmth and sophistication to this gorgeous watch.

This Seiko watch has a case made of stainless steel with a diameter of 40 mm and is fitted with a leather band. Inside the case lies a Seiko Instruments Inc. movement and the watch features a Single anti-reflective sapphire crystal.

The watch is 10 ATM. This means the watch is suitable for swimming. The watch comes with 2 Year Warranty.
