Seiko Astron SSH173J1 Astron 'Médecins Sans Frontières' Watch

The Seiko Astron SSH173J1 is a limited edition GPS Solar chronograph launched in 2025, developed in collaboration with Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) to commemorate its 50th anniversary and Seiko's 140th anniversary. Only 800 pieces were produced, making it a rare and meaningful timepiece. 

The description of this model can be summarized in his functions and features, such as the case in titanium and a super-hard coating for durability; the bezel & bracelet, glossy white ceramic, with a matching ceramic center link on the bracelet. 

The case back is engraved with “IN SUPPORT OF MÉDECINS SANS FRONTIÈRES” and the serial number, underscoring its limited edition status. The watch comes in a special box inspired by a first aid kit, made from 100% recycled polyester, reflecting Seiko's commitment to sustainability. 

Caliber: 5X83 GPS Solar, accuracy: ±15 seconds per month without GPS signal (at 5°C to 35°C)Power Reserve: Approximately 6 months when fully charged; power save mode lasts about 2 years 

This watch features a dual time display, Chronograph up to 12 hours in 1/20 second increments, world time function covering 38 cities, day display, power reserve indicator, time transfer function, GPS signal reception and status display, daylight Saving Time (DST) adjustment and automatic hand position alignment.
