Product description
An astrolabe is a piece of historical equipment used by sailors to navigate across the seas using measurements taken from the sun and stars. A fitting name for this new addition to the Seiko ‘Save the ocean’ family. Based on the first ever Japanese dive watch from 1965, the SLA065J1 features an intense ocean blue dial engraved with an astrolabe pattern. The watch is powered by one of Seiko’s most advanced movements, the calibre 8L35. An automatic movement with a 50-hour power reserve and an accuracy of +15/-10 seconds per day. For an added touch of luxury the bezel is finished with the specialist Zaratsu polishing technique, usually only found on Grand Seiko watches. This special edition is limited to 1300 worldwide.
