   It was a pleasant surprise to realize that a smartwatch can have all the features you expect in a current smartwatch without having to sacrifice design. Fossil has finally achieved this balance in the 4th generation of its smartwatches. The casing is as thick as you'd expect from a vurlgar watch, the battery is OK (it lasts a day: from 7am to 11pm, more or less), it's comfortable and good-looking. It's down to the chipset, which is already two and a half years old (Snapdragon wear 2100), but Generation 5 isn't due out for another year. The alerts work perfectly, the vibration is discreet, the touchscreen is very good, and the swipe for writing works very well. You don't even have to take out your phone to see who's calling, you can reject the call and/or reply with sms directly on the watch, among all the other features: Google Fit, Sleep tracking, google maps, google keep, voice commands, music controls, etc. If you're at home on a wifi network, it combines with your cell phone's bluetooth, making the experience even better. For those who are essentially looking for design, but don't want to give up some features, this watch is the perfect balance.

   Foi uma agradável surpresa perceber que um smartwatch pode ter todas as funcionalidades que se esperam num smartwatch actual sem ter de sacrificar o design. A Fossil conseguiu finalmente este equilíbrio na 4a geração dos seus smartwatches. A caixa tem a espessura que se espera de um relógio vurlgar, bateria OK (dura um dia: das 7 da manha até às 23, mais ou menos), confortável e bonito. Peca no chipset que já tem doiss anos e meio (Snapdragon wear 2100), mas a Geração 5 só deverá sair daqui a um ano. Os alertas funcionam perfeitamente, a vibração é discreta, o touchscreen é bastante bom, e o swipe para escrita funciona bastante bem. Não é sequer preciso tirar o telefone para ver quem está a ligar, podendo rejeitar a chamada e/ou responder com sms directamente no relógio, entre todas as restantes funcionalidades: Google Fit, Sleep tracking, google maps, google keep, comandos de voz, controlos de musica, etc. Se estivermos em casa numa rede wifi, alia-se com o bluetooth do telemóvel, tornando a experiencia ainda melhor. Para quem procura essencialmente design, mas não pretende abrir mão de algumas funcionalidades, este relógio é o equilíbrio perfeito.
