   I put off buying a smartwatch for a long time. I find most smartwatches rather bulky and ugly. I have narrow wrists, such a large smartwatch just doesn't look right then. But the Fossil Venture is really beautiful. Totally my taste and depending on which 'clock' you choose, it also looks like a regular watch. Installation was not complicated, within 10 minutes I had everything working. It did take a little longer to discover all the functions and possibilities. I find it especially convenient to receive apps immediately on my watch. I can just leave my phone on the wall most of the day and only pick it up when a message comes in that I really need to respond to. For me, it makes me spend much less time with my phone in my hand, nice! What did disappoint me a bit was the battery life, which is less than a day. So every day there is a time when you have to take your watch off to charge it. Luckily it charges via usb, so you can do that on the go via your laptop as well. All in all, I am very happy with this watch!

   Ik heb het kopen van een smartwatch lang uitgesteld. Ik vind de meeste smartwatches namelijk nogal lomp en lelijk. Ik heb smalle polsen, zo'n grote smartwatch staat dan gewoon niet. Maar de Fossil Venture is echt prachtig. Helemaal mijn smaak en afhankelijk van welke 'klok' je kiest lijkt het ook een gewoon horloge. Het installeren was niet ingewikkeld, binnen 10 minuten had ik alles aan de praat. Wel kostte het iets langer om alles functies en mogelijkheden te ontdekken. Ik vind het vooral heel handig om appjes meteen op mijn horloge te ontvangen. Mijn telefoon kan ik gewoon het grootste gedeelte van de dag op de kast laten liggen en alleen pakken als er een berichtje binnenkomt waar ik echt even op moet reageren. Het zorgt er bij mij voor dat ik veel minder met mijn telefoon in de hand zit, fijn! Wat me wel een beetje tegenviel was de batterijduur, die is nog geen dag. Dus elke dag is er wel een moment dat je je horloge af moet doen om hem op te laden. Gelukkig laadt hij op via usb, dus dat kan ook onderweg via je laptop. Al met al ben ik heel blij met dit horloge!

   Beautiful design. Pleasant wearing comfort. Clear screen and easy to operate. Only downside is the battery life, watch drains quickly. Charging every day is necessary.

   I like the product, but I don't like the strap very much. The watch works well, as expected.

   Het product bevalt goed, maar het bandje valt mij niet zo in de smaak. Het horloge werkt goed, zoals verwacht.

   I am one of the lucky testers through The Insiders and have been wanting a smartwatch for a while. I really like the Fossil Q FTW6016! First of all, the watch looks very stylish and not the plastic look like most smartwatches have. Very easy to use and it tracks exactly what activities I was looking for. I only have a few downsides: no proprietary adapter (just a cable), the battery runs out pretty fast (recharged quickly though) and the place of wearing it is very tight if you want to measure the heart rate itself. For me, those are the only downsides I've encountered so far. You can completely customize the Fossil Q FTW6016 to your liking, both the apps on the screen and the background of the screen itself. I find it ideal that I can now see my exercise activity via Google Fit and it also really encourages me to achieve my exercise points and heart points every day. Furthermore, I read my emails and apps through the smartwatch and you can even answer them! Ideal! I have (besides the minus points above) only 1 point of improvement: expand the list of workouts or add 1 general button for strength training. Because constantly changing your workout while exercising is a bit irritating. For the rest a top watch and I have decided that I want to keep The Fossil Q FTW6016.

   Ik ben een van de gelukkige testers via The Insiders en wilde al een tijdje heel graag een smartwatch. De Fossil Q FTW6016 bevalt heel erg goed! Ten eerste ziet het horloge er zeer stijlvol uit en niet de plastic look zoals de meeste smartwatches hebben. Zeer gemakkelijk in gebruik en hij houdt precies bij aan activiteiten wat ik zocht. Ik heb maar een paar minpuntjes: geen eigen adapter (alleen een kabel), de batterij is best snel leeg (wel weer snel opgeladen) en de plaats van het dragen komt heel erg nauw als je de hartslag zelf wilt meten. Dat zijn voor mij de enige minpunten die ik tot nu toe ben tegengekomen. De Fossil Q FTW6016 kun je helemaal aanpassen naar wens, zowel de apps op het scherm als de achtergrond van het scherm zelf. Ik vind het ideaal dat ik nu via Google Fit kan zien hoe mijn bewegingsactiviteit is en het stimuleert mij ook heel erg om elke dag mijn bewegingspunten en hartpunten te behalen. Verder lees ik mijn e-mails en appjes via de smartwatch en je kunt deze zelfs beantwoorden! Ideaal! Ik heb (naast de minpunten hierboven) maar 1 verbeterpuntje: de lijst van de workouts uitbreiden of 1 algemene knop voor krachttraining erbij. Want je workout steeds veranderen bij het sporten is een beetje irritant. Voor de rest een tophorloge en ik heb besloten dat ik De Fossil Q FTW6016 wil houden.

   Not what I expected. Not usable as a watch nor as a stand-alone music device. Always have your phone near your watch. Letters too small to use without reading glasses. Battery will not last the day.

   Niet wat ik verwacht had. Niet als horloge te gebruiken en ook niet als los te gebruiken muziek device. Altijd je telefoon in de buurt van je watch hebben. Te kleine letters om zonder leesbril te gebruiken. Batterij haalt einde van de dag niet
